About

A bit more about me.

Hi, I’m Vitor — a software developer and Computer Science student from São Paulo, Brazil. Online I go by rotiv, which is just my name backwards.

How I got here

I wrote my first lines of code when I was 13, out of pure curiosity, and never really stopped. By 2019 I was taking on small projects as a freelancer, learning mostly by building things and breaking them. For a while code was something I did on the side: I worked as a parking operator at Estapar — where I was promoted to the camera monitoring center after a few months — and later as an administrative assistant.

In March 2026 I joined BR GAAP, where I build complete enterprise management systems with SAPUI5, C# and MongoDB. The same year I started my degree in Computer Science at UNIP, to fill in the theory behind what I’d been doing in practice.

What I’m into

I like understanding how things work under the hood. That’s a big part of why I use Arch Linux with Sway, write code in Neovim, and type on a split keyboard — every piece of my setup is something I chose and configured myself. You can see all of it on the uses page.

Outside of code, I’m always looking for new music to listen to.

This site

This is where I keep my blog for longer writing, my notes for quick thoughts, and my portfolio if you want the professional version.
